Policies & Frequently Asked Questions

Appointments and Walk-Ins

While most of our work is done by appointment, we do have designated walk-in days. Subscribe to our newsletter for updates.

Please note that the studio is private and will not be opened to the public other than those designated walk-in days. You must have an appointment to come into the studio. This is to allow privacy and comfortability for our clients.

We schedule on a first come, first serve basis.

Deposits

Non-refundable deposits are required to secure your appointment. Your deposit amount will be taken off of the final price of the work. The typical deposit pays for an hour of the session. You will be required to pay the remaining balance on the day of your appointment. Visit your artist’s portfolio page for payment links.

Do not send a deposit before you have confirmed your appointment day and time with your artist. If you have not received confirmation from the artist, it is not guaranteed that your deposit will secure your preferred appointment time.

Cancellations or Rescheduling

As a general rule, we ask for cancellations or reschedules to be made at least a week in advance. We do our best to honor deposits upon your rescheduled appointment, but each artist reserves the right to keep your original deposit and ask for another deposit for the new appointment if not given adequate notice.

Those who miss their tattoo appointment without any notice will not get their deposit back. No call, no show = NO EXCEPTIONS. Another deposit will be required in order to schedule another appointment.

If you are going to be late to your appointment, please contact your artist as early as possible. If you are more than 30 minutes late without contacting the artist, the artist reserves the right to cancel your appointment without returning your deposit.

Artists reserve the right to choose whether or not to schedule with clients who repeatedly cancel or reschedule. Artists do not receive salary or guaranteed pay and this time allows for the artists to fill their empty slots.

Animals

We would love to see pictures of your furry friends, but cannot allow them into the tattoo space, as it is a health and safety issue. Unfortunately, animals not allowed in the shop.

Numbing Creams

We ask clients to not use any sort of numbing cream prior to the session. This can make the skin tougher to tattoo, make the job much more difficult and can compromise the quality of the work. Numbing cream can also effect the healing process of tattoos.

Drugs and Alcohol

While it might seem like a smart idea to have some drinks before or during your tattoo appointment, it can pose serious dangers to you, to our staff and to other clients. Aside from that, it’s illegal to tattoo anyone who is believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is thought to be under the influence. We will welcome you back when you are ready to party sober!
